There’s something magical about experiencing a first; that first kiss, that first car, that first job, that first love. They leave an indelible mark on our lives, etched in our memories for a lifetime. Nola embodies the power of firsts, surprising and captivating us from the start.
In 2017, a serendipitous collaboration between Wendy, hailing from Lafayette, LA, and Sara, residing in Springfield, LA, led to the joint purchase of a home in Livingston, LA, where Sara was working at the time. It was during a visit to Colthill Cresent Arabian’s Learning Day in Folsom, LA, that their lives took an unforeseen turn. Amidst the magnificent array of mares and fillies, one three-month-old filly stood out from the rest. Despite her shyness and apprehension in front of the crowd, Nola AD showcased her potential and instantly captured the hearts of Wendy and Sara. It was then, in June of 2018, that Wendy and Sara signed the dotted line, officially making Nola their very first horse and giving birth to Aset Egyptian Arabians under their guidance and expertise.
A year later, Nola impressed everyone by clinching the title of Reserve Champion Egyptian Breeders Challenge Filly in her debut show. Fast forward to 2023 when Nola welcomed her first foal, a remarkable bay colt, sired by Marbach RCA. From that pivotal moment, a dream shared by both mother and daughter blossomed and grew, all starting with their cherished first filly.
