As we settled into Tennessee, Wendy shared an enticing post with Sara about a downsizing farm. With our four-horse herd in Folsom, LA and Buchanan, VA, we hadn’t planned on expanding.
But then we laid eyes on Amiri Wanisa – and our hearts were captured instantly. There was one condition: Amiri’s dam, Preciouss Secret, had to join her daughter. Without hesitation, Sara set off from Tennessee to Waco, TX.
Fast forward a year, and both mother and daughter mares gave birth to the first foals at our farm. Preciouss Secret is not only one of the sweetest and gentlest mares on our property but also an exceptional mother, adding to the beauty and grace of Aset Egyptian Arabians. She has now been retired, but she and Starr play "nanny" to our weanlings, teaching them manners and being their companion
